So you are an Android user with a device that is running slow and sluggish or semi-sluggish? Then you may find this one useful as I am going to share some tips that can make your device run faster.
Tips for a faster Android:
1: Background process, apps, blah blah...
This one is always the problem. Your Android device runs many or some processes in the background for keeping some stuff alive and known. This will eat some memory causing slow-downs especially when you have less memory (RAM, I mean). So there's one thing you can do. Kill those processes. But you may need some processes that are important. So look before you proceed. You can kill apps and processes in few ways.
- Built-in Task Manager: This one is the device's internal task killer app which is factory made. This is capable of closing running apps, but not many processes
- Third-party Task Killers: This one is better than the first. It can kill many unnecessary apps, giving more mem space. There are many of these that you can find on Play store.
2: Uninstalling some apps
Your device must have a lot of or a few apps. There's no problem if you have few apps. But if you have some many apps on your device, then you have to think about removing some useless ones of them. Having many apps increases the usage of memory, both RAM and storage memories. So you have to consider uninstalling some useless, occasionally using apps from your device. This really helps!3: Updating apps
As you have very useful, selected apps on your system now, you always have to look for new updates and install them. Updating a software is a very good and essential practice. This is useful in many ways including stable and efficient system. So update every single app that you have on the device. Mainly update your Android whenever there's an update available for your device. You will do this for sure I think. So the habit of updating is a good one.
4: Root and have fun!
You can root your Android to attain the ultimate experience. This unlocks everything like CPU control, ROM management and all so you can take steps to speed up after rooting. Rooting nulls your warranty, so you have to think before proceeding. But remember you can always unroot your device after rooting. After rooting, you can even upgrade to newer Android versions that are unofficially available. So keep that in mind, root and enjoy!
