Nokia X |
Nokia X, the company's first ever Android smartphone is all set to launch in India on the 10th of March and it'll be available from March 15 for INR. 8,500. An Android from Nokia was highly anticipated one and its finally going to happen for real. The online shopping site named The Mobile Store already listed the phone online on their site.
Previously on the Mobile World Congress, Nokia had announced three smartphones on the X series namely Nokia X, X+ and XL. All those smartphones are said to be launched very soon.
Regarding specs, the Nokia X is a 4 inch screened smartphone with 800x480 pixels resolution. It has a Snapdragon S4 dual-core CPU clocked at 1GHz. RAM's 512MB and its got 4GB of internal storage with microSD expandability upto 32GB. The camera is dissapointing though, with the 3MP sensor for the rear and no cam on the front. It has a 1500 mAh battery that should offer 13 hours of talktime and 17 days standby.
Nokia X seems to be very entry level and the Nokia X+ is very identical to the X with almonst same specs. Both phones have same display, SoC, battery and all except the RAM which is 768MB. Nokia XL is aiming mid-range markets with the Snapdragon S4 processor, 768MB RAM, 5MP auto-focus rear camera with a LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera.
All the three phones run Android, but Nokia is leaning towards Microsoft with addition of Nokia's own app store, Skype, Outlook, OneDrive addition and Bing Search. The whle system's search is powered by Bing which is quite awkward.
