Spice Fire One Mi - FX 1 the second Firefox based smartphone in India is about to get launched. Mozilla primarily aims the cheaper low-end markets and it's the only competitor of the Google's Android with this Firefox OS.
The Fire One is pretty basic phone with the specs. The display on the top is 3.5 inches with 320 x 480p resolution, has a 1 GHz processor and its a dual-SIM phone. It has both front and rear cams which are 2MP and 1.3MP respectively. The mobile operates only on 2G and there are Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for connectivity.
The Firefox OS is built with the internet in focus. But the problem with this is, how will one make the most of it with a 2G device like this. But its not Mozilla's fault and at this cost, its okay. There's Intex Cloud FX running the same OS which was already announced but not sure when will it get launched. But the Spice Fire One - FX 1 will go on sale from August 29 on Saholic, Snapdeal and other retailers online. It'll hit the Spice HotSpot stores as well.
So will you think about buying a Firefox phone (yea, it seems cheap) and do you think this will beat Android or what.. Share your thoughts withs us below.
